“Moana” Invitation
I created a joint birthday party invitation for two children, who are currently obsessed with the movie Moana. Since the guests are primarily adults, I designed the invitation to embrace the Polynesian look & feel without feeling like a typical children’s invitation.

“Under the Sea” Party Invitation
"Under the Sea" was the theme for a gender-neutral joint birthday party of two toddlers. I wanted the invitation to be playful, but not too childish. The calligraphy was done by hand and then digitized.

"Bunny Girl" Baby Shower Invitation
One of the children’s favorite teacher was having a baby. The shower was planned to help the children learn about and celebrate the new baby. I wanted the invitation to feel warm and fun, without getting into the typical pink color palettes.

Sketches
In grad school, I took a sketching class for fun. And I was hooked! Sketching became an indispensable tool for me. It helps me imagine the scenarios, work out kinks in the workflow, and communicate the design to others.
